Something that also i feel relates to Barack's Inaugural is how they both mention that issues will not be fixed within a certain amount of time, but they will be fixed because it's a "different time" and time to make dramatic changes. An example of the similarities would be from Obama's speech, "Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. "They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America - they will be met. On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord". It seems as though John and Barack both give off the impression that they give America the opportunity to make these changes, and that there's more to America than just leaving everything up to the Government.
Another strong relationship between John and Obama is their opinions towards war. According to BBC News Obama is planning on bringing home our troops little by little every month. This plan of Obama's plans on being complete by 2010. Military officials say they can send out more troops by the summer of 2009 which would double the amount of troops there. However, Obama does not intend on sending anymore out and want to stick with his plan to withdraw troops month by month.

1- What Strikes you about the content?
I thought that it was interesting that President Kennedy and President Obama both said that change would happen, maybe not in a short time but they will start the road of difficulty to make the world better.
2- What strikes you about the writing?
I thought it was cool how she put in the quotes and it compared both Obama's quote and Kennedy's. It was good to see how similar they were.
3- Specific, kind, helpful feedback...
I think that you should not call the presidents by their first name. i think you should call them by their last name or refer to them as President___.
4- What Questions do you have?
I was wondering at the last paragraph, what was President Kennedy’s thought about war? It tells me what President Obama’s opinion is and what his plan is, but it never tells me what Kennedy’s plan was.
